Ticket Fees

Thanks to funding from the six Columbia County Schools, there is no admission charge for any of our concerts.







Dress Code

Students will perform in black tops and black bottoms. Students should wear appropriate clothing that complies with their school's own dress code policies. Students must wear performance attire when arriving on Friday. There will be no changing time given.







Students have been chosen to represent their school at the festival. This honor carries with it the responsibilities of coming prepared to rehearsals and exhibiting appropriate behavior. Students who are selected for all county and do not fulfill their committment may not be selected for an ensemble in the next school year.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Can my child miss a rehearsal and still participate in the concert?

A: No. Students are required to be present at the full rehearsal time to participate in the concert.

Q: Will there be food for my child to purchase at the rehearsals?

A: Yes. Meals are available for purchase at each festival or students can bring a meal from home.

Q: Will there be time for my child to change into their concert clothing?

A: No. Students need to come wearing their concert clothe when arriving Friday. This is in compliance with NYSSMA regulations.


Q: What time does the concert start? When will my child be performing?

A: See the schedule on the individual festival pages for more information.


Q: Where can I pick up my student after the concert?

A: Parents should pick them up from your assigned classroom after the concert.

You may sign them out with their teachers.

Students are not allowed to re-enter the concert.


Q: What happens if the festival is cancelled because of snow?

A: In the unforeseen event of a cancellation to either day of the festival, information will be posted on this

website as well as through your local school. A "Snow Date" is always scheduled for the Thursday in between

both festival dates. We will do our best to still have a festival occur.
